What the model reads
File a leave request. It is filed as requested and grants nothing until somebody decides it. Whether the leave is paid and whether it consumes the entitlement follow from the kind, so do not ask the requester for either. It is the requester's own leave unless personHint names somebody else, which only an administrator may do.
