What the model reads
Add one line to the company's equity ledger: shares or options a holder received or gave up on a date, as the shareholder register or a share issuance records it. What anyone holds is the sum of their lines, so record a transfer as two lines, one negative and one positive. Only an administrator keeps the ledger.
